Privacy policy

Primebuild Limited ("Primebuild", "we") builds, renovates and reclads homes in Auckland. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you enquire through a form on our website, we ask for:

• your name, a mobile number and an email address, so Matt can reply to you
• the suburb or area of the project, so we can confirm we cover it
• what you tell us about the project, so the reply is useful

Some forms record which page you enquired from and which advertisement brought you to it, so we know what people are looking for.

If you call, email or message us, we keep that correspondence.

Website analytics and advertising

Our website uses Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement to understand how people find the site and which pages lead to enquiries. These tools set cookies and record technical information such as your device type, approximate location and the pages you visit. They do not receive your name or contact details from us.

Our enquiry forms are provided by HubSpot, which also sets a cookie so that a returning visitor's enquiry can be matched to their earlier visit.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work.

Why we collect it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, to talk through and plan a project with you, and to carry out the work if you engage us. We do not use it for anything unrelated.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who sees it

Enquiries are stored in HubSpot, a customer relationship system, on servers in HubSpot's Asia-Pacific region. Matt Good, Primebuild's director, and the website and marketing support provider who manages the enquiry system on Primebuild's behalf can see them.

Google (analytics and advertising) and HubSpot (forms and tracking) process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details while we are talking with you about a project. If we build for you, we keep the project records for as long as our record-keeping obligations require, which for business records in New Zealand is seven years. You can ask us to delete your details at any time, and we will unless we are required to keep them.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email matt@primebuildltd.co.nz or call 021 025 52138.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above.
